Retreat Weekend at the Farmhouse

This weekend I participated in a retreat at a familiar farmhouse way down yonder close to "The Brogue".

  

The time was spent in different ways. Mostly it was a time to reflect, relax and rest.  

I found delight in particular materials, providing hospitality for the group (we ate ALOT!), and of course being present with the lens.

During our first reflection time, I sat down at the dining room table with art supplies and my art journal, and a surprise began to unfold. I sensed I was to go through my art journal from beginning to end. As I did, it was interesting that the last nine months of my walk with God unfolded in sequence with the many things He was bringing to my attention for mental, emotional, physical and spiritual health. I love surprises, and this weekend there were quite a few, my heart is grateful.

The picture above captures intentionality I am being invited to live into in a new way. It is in conjunction with the unfolding surprise through my art journal.
